Logistics Center Location-Inventory-Routing Problem Optimization: A Systematic Review Using PRISMA Method

A traditional logistics decision model mainly studies the location of distribution centers, storage inventory management, vehicle scheduling, and transportation routes. The location-inventory-routing problem (LIRP) is an integrated optimization three problems—a comprehensive for whole system. This review paper uses PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items Systematic Reviews Meta-Analysis) method to literature on LIRP systematically. total 112 LIRP-related published between 2010 2021 are reviewed classified based 10 abstract citation databases. classification includes four aspects: characteristics, demand data types, model-based solutions, application fields. From this systematic review, a few observations recorded. First, most popular problems among researchers multi-period multi-product problem, multi-echelon single-link multi-depot multi-retailer problem. Based objective function, minimization supply chain cost primary concern literature. Researchers also favor other characteristics such as multi-objective programming, control replenishment policy, homogeneous fleet vehicles. We found that stochastic common factor in uncertain environment have broad coverage. When dealing with LIRP, heuristic metaheuristic algorithms widely used solution methodologies In field perishable products network mentioned applications. Finally, we discuss emphasize challenges recommendations future work. provides method, which contributes vital support valuable information interested LIRP.
